Assaulting Womanhood

Sexual molestation is a very serious issue. Dealing it with utmost caution and care has now become a necessity. Victims are physical as well as emotional wellbeing is wounded by such atrocities. A survey was conducted and we learnt a about lot of sexual offenses faced by people on everyday basis. Victims of sexual molestation shy away from the event and don’t take charge of the situation.

These events in the lives of the victims affect a person on a gigantic echelon. Every individual responds to such events differently. Affects rang from depression, post traumatic disorder, anxiety, low self-esteem, etc. Some become suicidal or insomniacs others turn into their fears of being alone, becoming aggressive, using drugs and alcohol and others lose interest in education or sometimes put all the pain in distractions like studying and being busy.

It becomes difficult to face the world after such an event. Many people fail to understand the problems and impacts of being sexually molestated.one reason being the culture and society we are a part of. According to the survey many of them were sexually molestated between the ages 10 to 15. Difficult childhood can lead to instable adulthood.

Most of the victims never report sexual molestation. Victims often blame themselves of what happened to them. Sexual offenders should be reported. Leaving them is loose is not safe for the people around.

Talking with the people who comfort helps to be strong a friend or relative will be helpful. Forgetting the suffering of this deed is difficult but reporting sexual molestation is important so that such situation is not faced by any other individual.

Dealing with pain with the help of someone is trustworthy is a good idea. The victims should not deal with it alone. From talking to them, to believing the incident, and grieving with them is the right thing to do. The Victims should face the bitter truth and take action.

We women have to stand for ourselves because we need to get justice. Its our right. Such people should be taught a lesson. If we fail to speak out , there might be someone else who will suffer.
