Kinetic Typography on One Tree Hill

As a part of our final year project. We had to make a video taking any song or quote we liked and create a kinetic typography video. This was our first attempt in using Adobe After effects. I chose to work on a quote from a TV series that ended last year ” One Tree Hill”. I always liked that show, but the final quote was just something that touched my heart, every bit was true and real that I decided to make it work.

The year 2012 was pretty much bad, lost alot of people. This seemed the right quote at that time. The quote went like this..

“It’s the oldest story in the world. One day you’re 17 and planning for someday. And then quietly and without you ever really noticing, someday is today. And then someday is yesterday. And this is your life.” –Nathan Scott

Du Jour 

Last year as a part of my course we had to create a magazine. We had to consult professionals, and write article based on it. I chose to do women’s magazine, with the age group of 18 to 30 years. I love French so I named my magazine “Du Jour” which means current or trend.I had five sections in the magazine, they were Insight, Fashion, Beauty Well being and Gourmet. We had to design, write the articles and click photographs for the magazine. We were not supposed to use any sort of material of the net. Click here to a few glimpse of what my magazine looks like.
